OlasArt is art done by me, and despite sounding exotic I took it from my name Nickolas. I am a freelance artist who does a mixture of commissions and urban art youth work.

ART SERVICE: I have experience in designing and painting murals for pubs, clubs, shops, schools and bedrooms, banners and backdrops for music bands and DJs....painting everything from cars to soundsystems! See pics by clicking 'gallery' on the left, and just get in touch if you want to brighten up anywhere with a bit of colour, want your company van customising or even your name on a canvas....job done.

WORKSHOPS: I am a qualified Arts Award tutor, have a enhanced CRB check and am experienced in doing a variety of art workshops, (graffiti/urban art, groups murals, spray painting, stencils, etc).

The aims of these workshops vary, but they are generally to give young people the opportunity to prove to themselves that they can achieve their goals if they focus...like doing a sick piece of art! This raises their self-confidence and hopefully effects their attitude to new challenges life throws at them generally. In some of these young people work towards the Arts Award qualification.

I have worked with many different people, such as young offenders, young people with mental health problems and children in vulnerable accomodation. For organisations like Bradford and Grimsby YOT, Wakefield pupil refferal & support centre, Hyde Park Source, Leeds City Council and NHS mental health service.

• Dec 08 - Community Action & Advocacy training with the British Council in Pakistan.
• Jan 09 - Dealing with conflict and challenging behaviour training with HydeParkSource.
• March 09 - Our Youth Point graffiti group got 2 awards: Best Project, & Most Creative Group of the year, and I got Vision volunteer of the year award.
