Welcome!
The name OlasArt comes from my name Nicholas, and I put art on the end so that from seeing it somewhere there is no mystery as to what it is about. I do a mixture of painting myself and encouraging others to do it in workshops.
ART SERVICE: Experienced in designing and painting murals for pubs, clubs, shops, schools and bedrooms, banners and backdrops....painting on everything from cars to soundsystems, bikes, records, shoes and even a pair of balls made out of paper mache.
See photos by clicking 'gallery' on the left, and dont hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
WORKSHOPS: Experienced in doing a variety of art workshops: graffiti/urban art, groups murals, spray painting, stencils, designs on tshirts, mugs, hats vinyl records.
- Qualified Arts Award tutor.
- Enhanced CRB check.
- Public liabilty insurance.
I have worked with many different groups, such as Youth Offending Teams, pupil refferal & support centres, High Security Units, NHS mental health service, schools, the Fire Service, housing offices, Positive Futures, YIP and city councils. In Leeds, Grimsby, Shropshire, Newcastle, Bradford and more.
These workshops can be open or themed to topics like drug awareness, arson, community relations or sexual health. Whatever the theme participants get the opportunity to prove to themselves that they can achieve their goals if they focus...they can produce something that is sick!
This raises their self-confidence and hopefully effects their attitude to new challenges life throws at them generally. Also helps their team work, communication and decision making skills. In some of these young people work towards the Arts Award qualification.
